I was searching for a part-time remote job as a side hustle. I came across a job posting in one of my facebook groups. I Inquired and did "an interview via icq app". I was given the job which requires a software. I would have to purchase the software using company funds. This was going to be in a form of a check sent via email. I was supposed to print the check, deposit it in my bank account and purchase the software with it.

This sounded fraudulent so i did not pursue the process.

Please advise on what to do.
