I called the listed # on the scam e-mail and the respondent asked for my first and last name . I did not provide that information and I informed him I had never purchased a Windows Firewall & Anti-Virus Protection Plan nor had I ever agreed to an auto renewal of such or given any auto pay information ever to anyone and further stated I suspected the e-mail was a scam. The respondent politely admitted it was and hung up.

I received an email from [email protected] saying below. I called to ask them not to debit my account and attempts were made to get on my laptop to get the refund form for $299. I restarted my computer and deleted the icon they tried to use on my device. I believe they are a scam since they wanted me to check my bank account when I felt they could see it but they denied they could on my laptop.
