Received a pop-up notice on my computer stating my computer was about to crash and my secure information was in jeopardy. I was advised to call the phone number in the box immediately. I called the number. I was advised that the removal of the spyware would cost $1499 or $999 or $525. If I didn't choose all information and security, would be lost. I must give them (Sam) a credit card number right away. I gave them my credit card number (MC). Citibank would not honor the purchase and the credit card was cancelled. I received an email invoice requesting payment of $525.00. I did not pay as of 02/14/2018. This incident occurred on 02/07/2018.
