shut down original computer until i contacted the phone number. Sold me "tech help and protection" for $499.99 on 2-1-18. The computer seemed to work fine again, for a while, so I thought it was a legit company. Computer shut down completely a few months ago, so we had to throw it away. Company contacted me two days ago and said that they were going to do an auto-renewal and were going to charge me another $499.99 even though I no longer had said computer. I told him to cancel and he said that the only way to cancel the subscription was to download an app from REMOTEPC then give him the access codes so that he could help me cancel the membership. I refused. I then cancelled the credit card they originally charged. The phone number he gave me to contact him is ironically a known virus program. 877-228-7788 I talked to a "Mark" even though he was obviously a foreigner
