They are under the name “Tech Farm” and created a crypto “decentralized finance game” (aka DeFi Game, or GameFi) and lures users to invest in crypto USDT (1USDT = 1USD) and earn high interest. Daily interest goes from 0.8% to 7% depending on the amount of USDT coins the player put into the game.

At the beginning, the USDT coins stay within the wallet, but in order to receive the interest, players have to agree to a “smart contract” (computer programs) that they later used to transfer all wallet asset out to unknown wallet of their own. By looking at the tracking tool Etherscan, the money transferred out is also used to pay other player's daily interest. When taking all the Tether coins out of the wallet, they claim that this is a game activity that lasts for 15 days and offer in-game bonuses for being “luckily selected” by the system to join the activity.

However, after 15 days, they wouldn’t return the assets (coins) to the wallet, saying that the victim needs to pay additional 25% tax for them to return the assets to the victim's wallet.

So basically they lured people to play this game with initial earnings, use various game activities to lure the players to invest more into the game to a certain point and then transfer everything away, after which they ask a ransom (under the name “tax”) before they can return my assets. When chatting with customer service, they say you can give up your profit but would still need to pay "tax", basically asking for more without return even just the principal.

This is a scam. They will never return the money/assets back. They ask for “tax” only to trick more money out of the victim.

They say their company is called “Tech Farm”, while their game logo is using “[Crypto.com](http://crypto.com/)”’s logo.

Using tracking tools like [Etherscan.io](http://etherscan.io/), I see some other players have been tricked out of as much as half a million. This is a very vicious scam. It's obvious they scammed millions already and is continuing doing so.

They employ Facebook fake users who talk you into this game. Those fake users make "friends" with you and can even "borrow" you money. However such a friend is an insider, she or he just borrow the money by letting the website to manipulate the fake numbers, without having the coin asset really going to your own wallet.
