I was called by a company posing to be my IT-tech company that I have been using for a while now. The man on the phone said the got a notice through the software program that my computer had a virus and that they needed to run a software check. They seemed to know their way through the program just like the other guy I use. so, I thought it was legit. Then of course they found that all my drivers were out of date and there were other internal issues they were going to need to fix. They also said they should check the other computer as well for the virus since it was on the same network. I of course fell for this as I though my computer was in danger of issues. they were inside my computer virtually and it all seemed real. They gave me a contact number on the bottom of my screen which actually erased the one to my actual tech guy which I didn't know at the time.

I’ve tried calling these people multiple times on the number given in hopes they could prove the repair work they said they did and that in which they charged me for and got no answer. I tried finding the other number that I used in the past and had no luck. my computer never got fixed as far as I can tell. and finally, one day my actually IT-tech guy calls me to check on things and I explained this all to him and he said it was not him and that I should contact my bank and try to get the funds reversed.

I reached out to TD bank and filed a dispute twice and they will not reverse the charges as I agreed to them. It was suggested that I file a police report so that then maybe the bank can try again to recover my funds.

The company claimed to be TECHCENTERLIVE 1-786-490-9125, 1-337-307-6088, 1-747-322-7149, 1-855-208-3444. (these are the numbers they called in on, and the one they put on my computer). My other IT-tech guy can be reached at 1-844-865-6999 they could be helpful in this if you need.

This company needs to be stopped I feel I was taken advantage of and totally ripped off by this company. No services were actually done on my computer as far as I can tell. I hope you are able to catch these guys. I have spent countless hours going through my computer files and trying to remove anything from that day that they may have put into my computer to track my keystrokes. I disconnect from the internet every time I walk away from my computer in hopes that they can’t get back in, however I think it’s too late and they have all my personal information already. The speed of my 2 computers has significantly gotten so slow since this happened, I am not sure how I can ever get this fixed. I had to close out my bank account in fear that they could clean me out.
