My 80 yr old father was locked out of Facebook. He called a Facebook support phone number which he found on Google. (No such thing, 3rd party for sure). They connected him to "Cisco" who connected him to Tech-Trager in Hicksville, NY. Here they told my Dad he had a virus Koobface on his computer. They logged in remotely and told him that they could clean up his computer for a lovely fee of $429.00. 3yr, 5yr and lifetime warranties were all $200 - $500 on top of repair fee. He was asked for a credit card number or send a check over night. Each person my Dad spoke with had a heavy Indian accent.

My poor father had no idea that he was being scammed until I got involved and researched this scam tactic online. I was sick about it. How can this continue?!

Please shut down this company!!!!
