2 weeks ago my Husband's computer started screeching & saying it was attacked & need immediate assistance. Microsoft sign popped up will call this company & then Web Micro called him back. They asked to take control of his computer to clean it up & did for approx 2 hrs. This cost us $1098.00 for a 5 yr warranty & the clean up. They did not want a credit card they wanted a check sent to: PO Box 734205, Atlanta, Ga 31139 We sent the check. They called back 2 weeks later said the government was mad at them & wanted to put the check back in pour account. That's when I heard the conversation, I ran to my computer & pulled up our bank information & saw $40,000 moving for a saving s account & putting it in the checking account # that they had on the check my husband sent to them. I ran to the bank & they put a hold on the $1098 check & the savings transfer to checking so they couldn't wire it. I changed all our banking accounts right then. They scammers knew they could transfer the $40,000 w/o the bank questioning. Which why the bank did not alert us. Since they have called us continually on both of our cell phones. Blocking no good cause they call from amny different ph#'s & areas.
