Name Jordan - used ScamPulse.com emblem 100% status - technical knowledge, because my laptop was running slow. The phone # used (916) 888-9039 now it's disconnected as of 1/19/23. Beginning Friday 1/13/23, I received a message from Microsoft about a scammer where attempting to get access to my laptop. He told me to get gift cards such as Target (2) for $500 & (1) for $200 & American Express (2) for $500 totaling $2200. He had access to Chase bank to send $2500 to my checking account from Microsoft. Stating they owed me $250 for a laptop that I purchased several years ago. This should have triggered something but it didn't. I just want to make sure nobody else falls prey to this scam. Thx, *****
