About 4 years ago my computer crashed. There's a number that popped up on my screen and of course I called it because I needed help. They fixed the computer so to speak and then they wanted me to pay them $1,000 to fix a computer. Which I gave them my checking account number but then cancel the account immediately afterwards. They said I agreed to have a service two plans for 6 years. I did not have any recognition of that or documentation. They called and called again to get me to cancel my subscription that I did not have. then I said if I did not cancel it it would renew again. So I talked with them about 2 hours for them to cancel my subscription then at the end of this canceling or in the process of the canceling they tell me I owed them $3, 500.00. for 2 years of not paying for their services. I said I did not agree with that then they threatened to cut my computer off to cut the IEP address off that I cannot get to my computer for 90 days. Then I got a little bit scared because I need my computer to work on so then I proceed to give them my credit card number, bad idea. I was on hold with the bank because that got denied because it went to an overseas account. I talked to the bank and cancelled the card and I got a new one on the way.

I was left a phone message on Thursday, October 29, 2020, that said my anti-virus security order had been renewed for a year at the cost of $249.99 and that they would be authorizing the payment. They gave me an account number. The message said that I should call their number within 48 hours to cancel the transaction. The person who called said the company is Tech Solutions and gave me his name.

I have never talked with anyone about this matter and have not ordered any such service.

Phone call from Tech solutions requesting a payment of $399 within 48 hours of phone call or it would be billed to your credit card. Looked up tech solutions on Hilo Hawaii where the recorder showed their location, and the only ( Techknology Solutions ) phone number was different ( 808 ) 345-3256. I called and left a message about their name being used for a possible scam.

I got a call from someone saying that I had ordered Anti virus software for my computer. He said they were going to charge my account and that I needed to go to my computer and he would tell me how to install it.

- Nampa, ID, USA

I received a message on my home phone from a man who identified himself as Shane Wilson from a company called Tech Solutions, which deals with anti-virus security. He said I would need to call him in order to get a refund of $399. for a service I never paid for in the first place. If I remember correctly, I got a similar call a few months ago.

- Tyler, TX, USA

Tech Solutions (Dennis Wilson w/cust relations) left VM saying she was going to be charged for support if she didn't call the 203#. She said he sounded like his first language is English but she couldn't understand him. She didn't call back.

- Jonesboro, AR, USA

Caller claims that my anti-virus software will be automatically "renewed" for $399 from my bank account unless I return call to cancel my software. I have no such software and am not frightened Mr. David Thompson of Tech Solutions can withdraw any amount from my bank account without a personal check from me.

Phone message on land line. Caller stated that there would be a charge of $199 on my credit card for his services. I could cancel but it had to be within 48 hours. He gave his name as David Parker. I called back since I had no idea what he was talking about. I asked for David Parker and he said it was he. Sounded very different and foreign. He then said he would help me cancel but I should be at my computer to fill out the cancellation form. I hung up.

My computer locked up and an alarm sounded with a warning that said my computer is now locked because someone is trying to gain access to my personal information. Do not shut your computer off. Call this number immediately. I called that number and I allowed remote access in to my computer. He showed me where I had all kinds of drives disabled and they should not be disabled. He then forwarded me to a company called tech Solutions. I was given the name of Jack Iniesta at 762-222-0883 and that I could call him at any time if I thought the technician was doing something wrong. I then had to get a series of google play cards to pay them. First it was 200.00, and then they said I needed a protection plan - for life it would be 500.00. I scanned the cards and they could see them because they were remoted into my computer. the second 500.00 card was determined to be "old" as the number didn't work. I received emails for alleged refunds to my credit card for the 200.00 and first 500.00 gift cards. then I scanned another 500.00 google play card. They also told me they would be calling me again on monday for a service check, which is in two days. I'm sure they wont be calling. I'm so stupid!

Called and said they were refunding 300.00 for tech support on a computer that she did not use in the last year and ask for account number then accessed computer to get rest of account info told her they made a mistake and deposit 3000.00 in her checking instead of 300.00 and she needed to get a money gram and send the 3000.00 back. Somehow they moved 3000.00 from savings to checking. They also ask you to email them at [email protected] so that they can email her info. And to make money gram to Berk Demirci.

THIS IS A SCAM PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ACCESS OR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIS COMPANY OR PERSONS CALLING ON THEIR BEHALF.

Luckily my mom ask how to send a money gram, so scammers did not get her money.
