Pop up on computer screen said that computer had Trojan virus that would cause the system to crash. Gave phone number to call and then "tech support" went into computer and appeared to fix the computer but nothing was really done. Only one possible security issue was considered a threat. The entire computer was swept....makes me wonder if all of the information on it was downloaded by the "support company." Said that they would install a network security protection that would make all devices in network secure forever. Operated "business" under DigiSupport Pros, which on their website is owned and operated by Tech Matrix Info Solutions Inc. Their website appears legit, but they have very little information on it. Looks like it was very quickly set up, because they are running into scam issues. No address or company info. given on website for DigiSupport Pros, so I am referencing Tech Matrix Info Solutions Inc....because they seem to be connected. I have a copy of the chat that occurred when they were supposedly fixing the computer, if this is helpful.
