I received a pop up on my computer last Friday night December 8th. The pop up stated something about malware. It gave the company name Tech Helps 24 7. The pop had a phone number to call. I have three phone numbers for them. I am not certain which one I called back. Under Tech Helps 24 7. 877-353-3729. I also have 888-286-9173 and 844-229-4871. I called the number back. A woman answered. Gloria Williams. I also spoke with an Eva Johnson. They said they would help with my computer. All I had to do was sign up for the program and let them into my computer which I did. they asked for $400. They gave me a choice on the number of years. I chose the four year progra, I think they asked for a credit. I gave it out. $400 was withdrawn from my checking account. I reported this to my bank. I am changing my computer passwords. It all seemed real. I realize now I was scammed.
