I was told by a company that I discovered on Facebook (there was a pop up on my computer from Facebook telling me to call 888-924-7888) that my computer needed to be cleaned out, and that I needed an updated malware system, because mine was outdated. I called the number that was on the screen and spoke to a man named Jeff. The name of the company was Tech Cuero, and they stated that they were a software company located in Shrewsbury, MA. I have since found out that this is not the case. Jeff asked for my information for payment, and also asked for my passwords and other sensitive information. I did give him my credit card number, but did not give him any other information, and since have taken my computer to a computer shop for them to clean out my computer.
