I typed in a URL wrong, left out an S. It was for a website associated with my school so I ignored my computer's warning. Then it told me to call this number for help. The place was tech axis. Basically they make you feel comfortable enough to give them control of your computer, you do have power to end it if you do it in time. They get your card info so that they can charge you because the talk you into buying software to prevent it from happening again after they remove it. Then they get on your computer and sign documents for them (I don't know if its to try to seem real or what but honestly am still scared about those). Once they were doing that I used the message thing and told the tech I did not consent, to call me immediately and that I was shutting the computer off. I had a helpful friend who deleted everything they did and rebooted my computer, it is fine now. They show you FAKE viruses they put on your computer. I immediately stopped the program and called my bank. It could be real but I doubt it. They try hard to make it SUPER real. As I was on the phone with my bank they kept calling me from blocked numbers, 000000 numbers, and even called me from a phone you cannot call back. I think once they realized they could not get the money, or into my computer, they gave up. They have an answer for everythinggggg! This is the shortened version. If a message like that ever pops up on your computer and you cannot escape it, hit the power button immediately. It will shut them out and your computer will reboot. I am still so worried over this just because of the documents that they HACKED INTO MY EMAIL and signed without my permission. They basically stated they could charge my card. NOT anymore. That card does not exist. Only concern is they have the billing address and idk.. SCARIEST thing ever. Protect yourself.
