I came across this breeder "Tea cup yorkie pups for sale" in Facebook and started exchanging messages with Ashley who was the owner. She gave me her website address http://spoiledteacupyorkiepups.ml which had photos of her pups as her Facebook page. Both did not have her contact information. She promised us a Yorkie pup "Leya" for $500 with no shipping fee. She stated that she could ship it safely to NJ and asked me to send $500 by Western Union money transfer. She asked me to send it to Berwick Gareth in D.C who she said was her husband. I sent the money on 8/28/2018 and was told that the delivery company will contact me to deliver the pup. A delivery company named "American Delivery express"contacted me on 8/30/2018 by email and phone stating that in order to transfer the pup safely it has to be sent on a Geo-thermal crate that costs $900 but they would refund 98% of that money back upon delivery. They asked me to send money via Walmart money transfer first then changed it to Money gram and finally through Western union. On 8/31 American Delivery Company contacted me stating that the cashier in whose name I sent the money is out on emergency and asked me to send it via Western union to another person in their company. I got suspicious, and contacted the breeder to find out about of this delivery company. After she gave the re-assurance that they are legitimate, I transferred $976 ($76 for express delivery) to American Delivery express so that they can safely deliver the pup next morning (on 9/1). From the morning of 9/1/2018, I have tried desperately to reach the breeder as well as the delivery company since we did not get our pup as promised at 8 am on 9/1 ( and till this day did not receive it), both have ignored by numerous calls/messages. I was fortunate to cancel the pickup of money transfer amount of $976 through Western union but the breeder already picked up $500. I have flagged her home page in Facebook as scam. I noticed now that the “Teacup yorkie pups for sale” was flagged as a scammer in a different business in ScamPulse.com but had the same name “Teacup Yorkie pups for sale” in FB that time too. The FB page has not been taken down. In fact I saw that she posted photos of her “so-called happy customer” in FB after she cheated us. Please help us stop these scammers for cheating innocent dog lovers.
