THe key Red flag right off the bat is that they say that you will have to go to record at a rented studio near you ( for our convenience) and that is the thing that blows their cover.
If you do go through with it, they say they will send you 5000 ahead of time and prepay for the VO service ahead of time, they deposit the money in your account, then they say they made a mistake or the client decided to go with another voice actor for the project and ask for you to send them a cashiers check for the mount back to them. BUt in the meantime they have stopped payment on the original money they sent you and now you out 5k.
