The initial caller wanted me to say yes they were speaking to me. Once I said yes he said he needed to verify with me that I was who I said I was. When I asked the name of his company he said something like like KLM legal. Once I insisted on knowing what he was calling for he then said he was transferring me to someone to deal with this matter. When the second person got on the line he gave him some kind of file number. When the second person asked if it was me he was speaking to the first person quickly answered yes as to not give me a chance to answer. Then the second person started his spill about having to ask me questions in order to verify that I was who he said I was. When I asked how do I know if I'm speaking to who they claim to be and what number could I call back to verify the legitimacy of the call he said once again I need to verify by answering his questions about my date of birth and so on. I said if you are legitimate why can't I call back he got very adimant about he was calling about a legal matter. I asked who initiated the legal matter he said a law firm. I said what law firm and he said they work for a lot of law firms. I then hung up and called back about 20 minutes later and a lady answered this time she as well tried to get me to identify myself. When I asked what website I could go to to verify the company she said there isn't one and then gave me the second number and said I need to call the number within the next two hours or the lawyer would have a summoned sent it brought to my house in 24 - 48 hours. She got very short and rude once I told her I was going to call the Better Business Bureau and then she cut me off and hung up. I did not call the second number because I don't think these people are legitimate.
