We had received plenty of calls for about a month about this sweepstakes. Each one said they we had won thousands of dollars. This letter is saying it is a sweepstakes price. I received the letter on Saturday (4/30). The check they sent us is what they want us to send back to Taylor Business Product Inc. The check is for $4,890 and they said we won $360,600 and the amount due after taxes is $354,359.11.

I received a letter in the mail 4/28/16 and it said the following:

Claim #: 8PK-809-2016

My name and address

We are pleased to inform you that a lump sum amount of $360,600 (360,600) has been deposited in our bank as your sweepstakes prize enclosed is a check of $4,890 deducted from your winnings as your initial payment. You won in the first category with ticket serial number 12-5-21-7-18. Congratulations. Your lump sum prize is payable to you as bank draft, certified check, or direct deposit through your bank. Please contact your claim agent and specify the method of payment you prefer. You are requried to contact your claim agent before depositing the check into your account in order to activate your claim. 

Please note that your winning prize will be sent to you 24-48 hours after you have paid the non-residential tax non-Canadian. The tax you are required to pay is $4500 and is payable with the enclosed check ask your claim agent how to pay this non-resdential non-Candian resident tax. Tax amount $4500 (four thousand five hundred dollars). As part of our security measures, you are strongly advised to keep letter away from the public, in order to avoid multiple claims. 

To activate your claim, contact your claim agent at 1-877-396-3090 or 1-647-677-2193. We are open weekdays from 9a.m.-9p.m. Saturdays 10a.m. to 4p.m. EST. Again, congratulations.
