It was a text message sent this;

17696678230 Deposited a new message:

"Hello, I hope your day is going well. My name is Meredith Williams from Rapid Tax Filings LLC, and my phone number is 260-529-3339. We are calling about your overdue back tax filings. This is a notification call about your back tax debt that must be settled before the end of the month. We have received a notice that your taxes need to be settled before the end of the month, and if you call today, we can help you avoid any wage garnishments. My phone number is 260-529-3339. I have some good news for you about some extended relief programs that have taken effect that can help you to reduce or possibly completely eliminate your overdue tax debt before you receive a wage garnishment. Once again, Meredith Williams from your Rapid Tax filings LLC and my number is 260-529-3339. If you would like to opt out of future calls, please call back the number on your caller ID."

i contacted Adrienne Sadiq on April 14, 2023 to do my taxes. We spoke back and forth she agreed to do them. she then asked for $500 to expedite the process on may 22, 2023. i sent her the money on zelle. After days of no contact i contacted her and she would not respond. it is now august 2, 2023 and she still hasn't responded. she has also scammed 3 other people that i know of.

I was called by a Elizabeth Williams regarding a tax debt. When I called the the provided and clicked on the options it would just hang up on me. However there was one option that worked and that was an option if I owed more then 10,000$. When I spoke to a male he simply told me he could not help me cause I didn’t owe anything. And when I asked to speak with Elizabeth Williams he said I was breaking up real bad and hung up on me.

I received an automated phone call warning me that there would be an arrest for me due to not filing taxes, and that my address was flagged. I know this is the same as the previous IRS phone scam because the messaging was phrased very similarly. I called the phone number back and a woman with an Indian accent answered stating she was a Police Sargent. It sounded like a call center based on the background noise. I proceeded to tell the lady that she was a criminal and to remove my number from their call list. The phone number appears as a Dallas, TX area code on my phone. Not sure if there's anything else needed but i'll be happy to provide any additional information that can help catch these thieves.
