Tax ID Support poses as a legitimate issuer of FEIN numbers which are available for FREE from the IRS. I ordered a FEIN from this company, then cancelled the request within minutes upon discovering their scam. I requested a refund through their website. Within minutes I received an email stating I must allow 10-14 business days for the refund from Tax ID Support to be processed. The email stated if I filed a complaint with my credit card company about the charge that my refund may be delayed. The refund was not issued after 12 business days. On a Sunday following the 12 business day, I emailed Tax ID Support stating I would be filing a disputed charge claim with my credit card company, which I did, and notifying consumer protection agencies. The next business day, now 13 business days after my cancellation with Tax ID was confirmed, Tax ID issued a refund which is currently pending on my credit card. The refund should be processed on the 14th or 15th business day following my cancellation and only occurred AFTER I followed up on the delinquent refund. How many people don't track that the refund is actually received after Tax ID acknowledges the cancellation?
