This person (Cean Alnajjar) was recommended to us by the previous homeowner of our new home. He did a couple of smaller projects for us, which went well and we paid him. He presented himself as a general contractor under the business name Pinellas County Contractor. We researched the company, including checking the ScamPulse.com for any reports and found nothing. We then hired him to install a new pool and koi pond in our home. He did not stick to his timelline and begin asking for more and more money without getting the work done. We have since learned that he did not pay the workers of the prior jobs we hired him for and paid him for. And have now discovered that he has only paid $45,000 towards our project vendors when we have paid him approximately $145,000. He has sent invoices that do not include the full amount of money we have paid. He has tried to extort more money from us. We have since learned that this man has stolen money from others in the same manner.
