I paid these weasels for a boat! I'm currently out 31,500.00 and they have not answered a call or email in weeks. I've filed a claim with my bank that I wired the money from. Good things happen to good people! So hopefully these people get caught and have a helluva a time in prison. I wish them the best of luck moving forward. I have no one to blame but myself. They really seamed legit and I took the bait!

I believe this business is a fraud! They advertise on their own website and on Boattrader.com. Looks legitimate, talks about selling boats, many on consignment and that they are the reputable company that mechanically checks the boats etc to ensure a remote buyer is not scammed. They offer to ship the boats to any location and continue to state a 30 day money back guarantee.

To ensure I didn't get robbed I looked on the internet for reviews people have posted on the company. Found none, which is a little crazy for a company that has been around for 18 years. I decided to call down to other boat shops in the area with good reputations if they have heard of Talon. They had not. I then asked if they would check the boat for me before I were to pull the trigger. When I described the boat, the other repair shop stated they were asked to look at that boat multiple times, but the appointment was continually cancelled. Apparently, when others had tried to arrange a service just as I had, Talon would inform them that the boat sold.

Talon sent me an invoice, claiming they accidentally put the wrong information in it. I can share that with you as well.

They seller was extremely engaged when trying to get my check, the second I talked about having another company come buy to look at the boat suddenly their phone does not work. I am more than happy to remove this complaint if they can prove they are legitimate. I informed them via email that I was writing this. We will see if there is any response. Just trying to protect other people from making a huge mistake. Please be very cautious.

This website has several boats listed for sale that are copies/usurped photographs from legitimate advertisements and are listed at 20+% below market value. Additionally, the physical address listed on the website does not exist, and would belong to a legitimate business addressed along the adjacent street ****** ****** at 1960 Whitfield Park Loop, Sarasota, FL). The "company" is very responsive to initial inquires, but then goes radio silent when requests to look at the product are made.
