I received an email from someone from Tae Life Sciences regarding a job offer for a Data Entry position. I conducted my conversations through an app called Ring. I did not speak to my contact or have ever met this person. The interview was conducted through the chat on Ring. After the interview, I first had to write a paper about a mistake I made at a previous job and how I learned from it. After completing the assignment, I was told that I would receive one hundred dollars for my work. I received another email regarding a check. When I opened the email attachment, the check was for over four thousand dollars. Confused, I emailed the person who I was in contact regarding the differences in amount I was told and the amount I got but, heard nothing. I tired email their Human Resources the same thing and asking to confirm that this was legit. I did hear back from their human resources as well. I sent multiple emails to both contacts and got nothing. Eventually when I was sending email, I was unable to send them because they kept buncoing back. This occurred even when I copied and pasted their emails form past emails. I suspected something was up after the differences from the check amount and the one hundred dollar reward for the paper, but this confirmed my suspicions and I stopped waiting for any emails from my contact or their supposed Human Resources.
