A group of people went to Tacos y Mariscos El Kora, service, food and atmosphere was great until the bill came. We, the group, decided to split the bill. Our waitress, Mariadela, told us that only cash can be accepted as a form of payment, we told her we did not have enough cash to cover the bill and tip. Waitress pointed out an ATM cash machine available. To our luck, the ATM was out of cash and our waitress had no choice but to accept my AMEX card. AMEX card was DECLINED so, I had to use my debit VISA card to complete the transaction. It was really dark and couldn't read the ticket clearly, so I went ahead and paid the bill and I added. 22% tip. Following day I checked my itemized receipt and realized I have been over charged. Waitress was not honest and does not deserve such great tip any more. Called the restaurant and spoke with supervisor, Maria Martinez. I told her about the cash payment only situation and her quick respond was that I was in no position to tell her how to run her business. I told her that as a client I did not feel confident about their acuracy and honesty in bill charges and if she please, could credit my overcharged money back to my card. Management did not seem to care at all.Supervisor Maria Martinez was very rude and refused to take my phone number to have upper management Return my call and resolve this despite. This was my first and last time I ever dine at this establishment.
