I was looking for a Bengal kitten, and came across this website. I saw a kitten I really liked, so I clicked on his link. It then asked for my contact information. I then received some text messages that seemed to be very legit. I asked questions, they were prompt to answer. I asked how their process went, and they sent me a very detailed description of exactly what would happen for the entire purchase. I agreed to the process, and began trying to get the kitten home. They asked when I would be available for the delivery, I told them that I could just meet him at the airport to bring him home. When it came to the payment, they wanted me to use Zelle, Applepay, or Cashapp. I did not have any of these apps, so when I downloaded them, they then would not let me send money. I then talked to the people, and they sent me some different ways to pay, with different names that I did not see associated with the business. Eventually I was able to get the payment through, and they said that they would take the kitten to the airport the following morning. I finally received word that they had taken him to the airport, and that the shippers were going to require a different type of crate be used for the flight, and that I could either rent or buy it. If I rented it, I would get the money back when I returned the crate. I was then sent an email from the shipping company. They stated that there were 3 different costs for the different crates available. 995, 1250 and 2700. They also wanted payment made through Zelle. Once the payment was made, which I only agreed to the 995, I was charged for the 1250. This shipping company is called Global Cargo Shipping. Once that was done, they said that he would be placed on the plane to be delivered the next day. Then I received another email from them telling me that they did not find any life insurance on the kitten, and that they were delaying the shipment of the animal until the life insurance was paid. The life insurance was going to cost 4990, which is non refundable but lasts a lifetime. But they had worked a deal with an insurance company so it would only cost another 1495, which also be refundable upon delivery. Also a Zelle payment request. They always wanted a screenshot when you made one of the payments, that was true of both companies. The shipping company sent what seemed to be a legit shipping tracking number, and had a receipt print option. There was nothing initially that suggested this website or the other for the kittens to be a scam.
