I received 2 iPhones, 12 pro max, in the mail with no information included. I called Apple to find out where the phones came from or which carrier provided the phones. Apple told me it was TMobile. I called TMobile and discovered I had a fraudulent account set up and that I was responsible for paying for the purchase of the 2 phones that I had not ordered and in addition, I had not asked for or opened an account with TMobile. I filed a police report and now the phones are considered "stolen", the police say to return the phones to TMobile. Apple says not to return the phones until I have evidence that the fraudulent account created for me is "closed". Initially the phones were shipped to an address I moved from 3 years ago. The new home owners notified me of the package. TMobile has my old address, my phone number, my social security number, and my middle initial. I plan to contact TMobile corporate on Monday to determine what to do with the phones and to clear the fraudulent account created in my name. At the moment it is being investigated by TMobile fraud dept & there is no way for me to contact them. The dollars the scammer attempted to take are endless because I may have not discovered this scam and they could have charged me endlessly and ruined my credit because I would not have paid for or been aware of this account. The address above is where the phones were shipped from via UPS 2nd-day air. I do not have an email address.
