There wasn’t any I reported as scam since I have been a direct target for these scammers lately. So now I know what to look for, for the most part, unfortunately or as I should say fortunately. I guess.

Last Monday (03/07/2022), I had received an offer to interview for a Data Entry Position with a Company called System1 LLC. After setting and attending the interview on Tuesday (03/08/2022) I was offered a position with the company for $30.00 n hr with a starting date on 03/21/2022.

This was an at home position, so they were sending me a “start-up” check that will be mailed to me, so that I could provide that to the company’s “trusted” sender whom will come to my address that I provided to set up my work office station.

Every day since Wednesday (03/09/2022), I have been promised that this check would arrived, and given a Tracking Number for Fedex (however it is an USPS tracking number / ES100073028) to track the whereabouts. The tracking number does not exist, and they are constantly saying a check would arrive every day without any proof to this claim and I am starting to get weary as to whom I gave my information out to. During our online conversation using an app called Enigma, I have noticed certain words misspelled out of place (apologise, delivred, etc) which made me think this was a scamming situation. Please look into this, it could be possible the person is using a Company’s info to perpetrate it as their own and posting hiring postings doing so.

This is exactly what happened to me! I have been applying for jobs because I recently graduated, yet I couldn't locate anywhere in the job boards that I had applied to this company. I looked all over the web and there is seemingly "legit" business information, but I too noticed the misspelled words, the gaps in conversation, and a promised check and computer supplies. It was by far the weirdest "interview" that I have ever done, and I've never gotten hired on the spot like that lol. I'm so glad that I am not the only one that has encountered these people.

This job scammed me of money with a promise of employment from them. They sent me an official letter of employment that looked legit and also sent a W-4 form as well. They would ask for certain amounts of money to be sent saying that it would be for software installation and also shipping fee for the working items to be sent to your home address. They would say that to start the training program with the rest of the team you would have to purchase apple gift cards to be able to work the apple laptop and apple iPhone that was going to be sent for business. They continue to update and ask for money and being that you already sent the W-4 to them with your social security on it so for cautionary reasons also file a police report just to be safe.
