A message was shared on a Facebook group about a data entry job. If you were interested you were then contacted by the hiring manager named Glen Holman. The links they sent to verify identity did not work so he asked for access to my Facebook account which they locked me out of. When I asked about the equipment needed he said it would be provided but wanted to know if I could pay anything. He then asked me to set up mobile banking for mobile deposit so I could be paid. He then asked me to buy a $100 gift card so the laptop could be activated before it was shipped. When I said I would not buy it without talking to my husband he said that I didn’t have to tell him because it would be refunded to me when I was paid. When I said I was no longer interested in the job he stopped communication but did not release my Facebook account. I have screenshots of the conversation on WhatsApp
