I received an email saying that I would be a good fit for a job in my field, which didn't seem odd since I'd been looking for work for a while. I then had a Microsoft Teams interview with someone named "Paige Collins," who asked a few questions about my work experience. The next week, I got a call from the company's "hiring department." A guy calling himself Toby with a thick Nigerian accent asked the same questions that Paige had asked, told me that he admired my passion, and offered me the job.

Back on Teams, Paige congratulated me and asked for my full name, home address, and phone number so we could register my house as a home office. I started asking some questions: Why was the url that her account was under different from the company's website? Why was that url only registered a few days prior? Could I please get an offer letter through the company's website before I offered up any more information? After that, she stopped replying to messages.
