I met a man on Facebook dating by the name of Thomas Michael Corbett. He claimed to be an Orthopedic surgeon with the United Nations. Shortly after we messaged each other we FaceTimed multiple times. He appeared to be who he said he was. After several months of talking he asked if he could send a trunk box to my address until he was able to come home. I agreed. I received emails from a Mr. Eric Owen with Swift Global Reliance instructing me on what to do. In total I sent $10,351 in Bitcoin and they kept asking for more so I knew at that time I was being scammed. Thomas continued communication until I blocked him from everything. He is aware of my address, birthday, email, phone number, and place of employment.
