The seller is very fast to respond initially and wants to get the process of paying for the puppy started immediately. First red flag is that they only accept Zelle as payment. They require you to sign a contract that’s about half a page long and pay for the puppy upfront through zelle. No official invoice is issued just wats disclosed on the contract. I had chosen to ship the puppy with the basic cargo option for $150 with a courier chosen by the seller. The courier is: https://uspscourieragency.com/ which is the the second red flag. If you look them up they have numerous scam reports for shipment of multitude of items. I was told the puppy will be shipped within 48 hours of contract finalization. This far I’ve payed $850 for the puppy and $150 for cargo shipping for a total of $1000. The following day I received a email from the courier (uspscourieragency.com/) that the puppy is processed and ready to ship. An hour later I receive an email from the courier that after a health checkup by some health officials the puppy is required to travel in a ventilator crate which could be purchased at $1500. That’s absurd because it’s more that the puppy itself. I contacted the seller Seara Alimentos to disclose this information and all she texted because she refused to take my call was just pay for it. I refused abs I opted to pay additional $300 for the puppy to travel with a lap nanny. Again $300 payed by Zelle to Quincy Andrew. Next day I received an email that my puppy has arrived at Atlanta, Georgia airport and was getting checked up once more to make sure the puppy is fit to continue to travel. I was notified by the courier once again that I have to pay $850 for a refundable puppy insurance that would be refunded back to me because the puppy insurance had expired? How does a 10 week old puppy’s insurance expire? I contacted the seller Seara once more to disclose the circumstances with and once again all she said was just pay it it will get reimbursed. I was very hesitant because at this point I’ve spent a total of $1300 and more charges kept popping up to be payed through Zelle. Initially I payed it ($850) but my bank wouldn’t release the funds immediately so it would take 1-3 days. I received a call from the courier stating that until the funds are released the puppy will stay at the airport. I asked why the courier can’t accommodate for the processing time and pay it forward and I even offered to send them the transfer authorization number as a guarantee. The courier declined and told me they will wait for the funds. I contacted the seller Seara asking for the flight itinerary and for the lap nanny’s contact info to check on the puppy. The seller Seara ignored my request. The courier told me they will provide a written statement that the puppy will be appropriately taken care of while eating for the funds. I have not received anything. After being very frustrated with the situation I decided to do some research so I called the Nebraska airport, Atlanta airport, and Orlando airport to check on what the process is to ship/ travel with an animal (dog). According to all 3 airports everything I’ve been told by the seller and the courier has been a lie. Yes ventilator crates are available for dogs diagnosed with health problems or traveling for extended periods of time. Also due to Covid-19 there are no pets allowed to be in the airplane cabin unless they are certified and registered as support animals (which indicates the lap nanny is not something the seller and courier and actually use and this time). I disclosed the information with both the courier and the seller. They both dismissed the shared information that was provided to me by 3 airports in 3 different states and just asked me to pay. I called the courier and was address by a very rude employee that not only didn’t listen to my concerns but only told me to pay up. Once I expressed my frustration and asked to speak to a manager the courier employee hung up on me. A minute after he called back and asked if I’m done having an attitude. I told them that I’m very frustrated with the situation and how unexpected charges keep popping up and that I want to speak to a manager. The employee states that he’s the only one that handles customer calls. I hung up and called back hoping to get someone else but to my surprise it was the same employee. Another red flag is that the courier states on their site that they survive more that 3000 customers in multimedia counties for multitude of shipping aspects but you have 1 employee handling all calls? The employee continued to be rude and condescending and just told me to pay the $850 and will be reimbursed upon receiving the puppy. I payed the $850 to Breanna Lincoln through Zelle yet again. Later that day after the Seller Seara refused to provide the flight information for the puppy and the lap nanny I was fed up I called my bank and canceled the $850 that was still in processing. I notified the seller that since they are the one providing the shipping service of the puppy with a courier they states they trust (after i notified them of the multiple online complaints against them for being a fraudulent service) and they refuse to give me some sort of proof that the puppy is where they say it is I will not be paying anything and it’s their responsibility. The seller seemed furious and called me irresponsible. I told the seller Seara they by contract I was only supposed to pay $1000 I already made an additional payment of $300 for the lap nanny since the $150 for the original cargo shipping was no refundable. I also let them know that at this point they have broken the contract because it’s been 3 days and I’ve still not received my puppy. I kindly asked the Seller to cover the fees since according to the courier will get reimbursed once the puppy is received. The Seller declined. I informed the seller Seara that I will not be paying anything further and if she refuses to not only cover the fees but to also give me the flight itinerary to prove that the puppy is actually where the courier says it is I will be canceling the adoption and requesting a full refund. At this point it has been a full week since the whole process started and the seller not only has declined to cover the fees but has declined to show proof of the puppies adoption papers and registration and has declined to reimburse me when I notified them that I’m no longer interested in doing business with them. I have the original contract, I have emails, text messages, Zelle transfer information as proof for EVERYTHING. Buyer beware! Do your research. I will be further continuing to share my story.
