I was looking for a miniature pinscher puppy for my mother. I found this website online and contacted them. They responded that all of the puppies were still available and let them know which one I was interested in. They asked $550 for the puppy, and $150 for delivering the puppy to your home. They promised AKC papers, that the puppies were up to date on shots, worming, etc., they would provide medical records, etc. Once the payment was made, they would contact the courier that would deliver the puppy and they would be in touch. I was contacted by United Express Logistics with tracking information on the puppy. It said the delivery was on hold until I confirmed the delivery information. I did so, and then received another email from them requesting between $1500 and $2700 to "rent" a thermal electronic crate for the puppy because a ventilated crate would be dangerous. They promised to refund the money once the puppy is delivered. I responded to them that I could not afford that and if they were refunding the money there was no need to charge it in the first place. I have not heard anything since, but while working online I noticed a site that said this kind of pet delivery service requesting a thermal crate is definitely a scam and not to send money.
