Sweepstakes Imposter Reports & Reviews (3)

I was not scamed. I checked it out beforehand.

Fake Publishers Clearing House scammer 'David Johnson' called a person claiming the person won $18 Million Dollars and would have to send $800 to cover processing and tax before the person gets the prize. The person said they are on a fixed income and don't have $800 to send. 'David Johnson' said he will mail the person a check for $800 and they would have to deposit it in a bank and would have to cash it out and pay the escrow officer. The victim said no they will check with the ScamPulse.com first. 'David Johnson' fine you could check with the ScamPulse.com because they were "members".

I am sure by now you have been notified of some very unkind people taking advantage of The Publishers Clearing House by telling people that they have won $30,000,00.00, 7,500,000.00, $5,000,000.00 and the last big amount of $2,500,000.00, a Mercedes Benz $5000.00 a month for 6 months washer & dryer and a refund of all the money we have paid out in order to receive the large prize winnings because we believed the people were a part of Publishers Clearing House. I will mail copies of all the correspondence that we have received along with the receipts of Western Union, etc receipts, not to mention the annoying back to back phone calls (has been as high as 75+ in any given day.

I hope you will not take this information lightly as these people say they are protected by The Publishers Clearing House, ScamPulse.com, Homeland Security, FBI, just to mention a few. We were told by one of these people that President Trump and Bill Gates would be returning our money as they were working with the FBI to get these people off the street and penalized.

We have lost several thousand dollars by being trusting people and we know the Publishers Clearing House is a legitimate business. I doubt if this will be of any value to you, but it might be in your best interests to investigate this matter as I know we are not the only people that have been scammed. We are both retired so our way of making any extra money is null and void. If this were my business, I would be reporting to the Federal Authorities so these thieves would be put behind bars where they belong. I am in hopes that you can help us and other fellow citizens that have been caught in these lies. I would appreciate a phone call or letter from your company to let us know that Publishers Clearing House is a for real company. We have enjoyed things from Publishers Clearing House, but now I am afraid to even order anything else.

Besides the situation, we have been told we will be going to jail, FBI is investigating, phone lines wire tapped, we are afraid to go out of our house. We do not need big prize winnings, just the amount we have spent trying to obtain our prize winnings If there is a way we can re-coup our personal funds, please let us know so that we can provide the necessary information to them.

I hope you will find time in your busy schedule to do the right thing and report these people to the Federal Authorities. I know this is not the first letter you have received regarding this matter, but with the copies that I will be sending to you, perhaps you will find out they are still out there scamming people and using the good name of Publishers Clearing House. (They claimed that we won $17.5 Million (10,000/month per life) Refund the money that I paid out and a Mercedes Benz.

I have contacted the police, FBI, AG, etc. Please help to get the money we lost back.
