They called and asked employment questions, such as where I bank, my address, phone, and email. The guy’s name was Darvis Lopez. Or so he said. He also sent an offer letter also from Sutter Health via Signal IM.

I was contacted via Text message by Bridget Stanton claiming to be in HR for Sutter Health. I had applied for remote jobs on Indeed. She stated that if interested in a remote Data Entry Position to download Signal Messenger and I would have an interview with Kathy Higgins the Interview Manager. I was interviewed by Kathy Higgins. It seemed like a real interview and they even sent me an employment offer letter that looked real. I did not give them any personal information. They were going to send the equipment to me in order to set up my mini office. However a day later they were asking for money to download the equipment. Every time I said something about being scammed Ms. Higgins was quick to state no it was not a scam to have faith in her. I put my foot down when they wanted another $400 to fly in my office equipment to the airport nearest to my home. She even went so far as to send me a picture of a guy at a computer with coffee cup in hand stating she was sitting next to the support desk trying to get everything set. I have requested a refund and filed a scam alert via Cash App.

I received a job offer from [email protected] and [email protected]. He sent me an invitation to join RingCentral for an interview. After I was given an offer letter, they asked for pictures of my social security card and driver's license. Additionally, they assured me that I would get a cheque in the mail for setting up a home office. It is a scam!

I was contacted over email by [email protected] (and subsequently [email protected]) asking for an interview over RingCentral. After 24 hours I received an offer letter and they requested photos of my drivers license and social security. I sent them before realizing it was a scam. They also told me I would be receiving a check in the mail for my home office set up
