A friend recommended a marketing survey company that was going to pay 4500 a month with a 350.00 commission off the top. They emailed a three page document with instructions on what to do when receiving check. I mobile deposited the check for 1875.00 then took the commission as was told. Took the cash of 1500 out and was told via email papers to buy gift cards and then scratch off the back and take a photo with feedback form. My initial thought was is this a scam or maybe they want to see if they can trust me. Then I figured I would be buying products and giving feedback. Wrong. I found out my friends's check with the same company had her check redacted? withdrawn? well, I called my bank and they are holding me responsible for the amount. Very sad and out of money. We will contact post office with the tracking info and trace it back to their PO BOX. I know it's over for them!
