I received an email and then text from Dennis Wagner regarding a Kroger survey and offer to become a secret shopper. I then received a text saying my survey packet was delivered (at 1:30 a.m.?) and he needed me to let him know when I would complete my assignment. I received the "packet" in the mail and it had a cashier's check for $2,400.00 from the University Federal Credit Union in Austin, TX made to me. There was no business return address on the packet information, envelope or the cashier's check. My instructions were to keep $300 and then shop at Kroger, spend $50 and complete an evaluation of my shopping experience. I was to then go to two different Walmart stores and purchase MoneyGrams for $1,025 each and mail one to Ramone Epps and one to Dennis Lee of Douglasville, GA, using same day service. Once again, I was to do an evaluation report of this service.
