I received two (2) United States Postal Services' Priority Mail Envelopes both with a check in the amount of $2,950.00. with instructions to deposit the checks into my account and purchase $2,500.00 of Nike Gift Cards. I was to keep $450.00 from each check as commission. The gift cards were to be in $500.00, $200.00 or $100.00 demoniations. After purchasing the cards, I was to scratch off the PIN #s on the back of the cards and send them the card numbers with the PIN numbers. I purchased four (4) Nike Gift Cards of $500.00 each and five (5) Nike Gift Cards of $200.00 each. Prior to sending them the PIN and numbers of the cards, my bank contacted me by phone to inform me the checks I deposited were returned due to them being altered and/or ficticious.
