Claims to be a Microsoft Affiliate who needs to log into your PC and collect information in order to determine your full refund from Microsoft.

Website has no affiliation links or copyright validation to substantiate claims. Caller directs you to open Google Chrome(I would guess any browser) and navigate to www.sumpremocontrol.com, and then download their remote access client software. At this point I knew this was a scam to access my system, and being a company administrator, I wasn't having it. No money was lost nor was any trying to be obtained at this point. But I didn't want to take that risk.

I was contacted on my home phone by a man with a very heavy accent approximately one year ago stating that my computer was loaded with viruses and that I needed to download the malware that they offer. Their claim was that they would be able to not only create a firewall defense for my computer, but also be able to clean my computer of existing viruses. As I had been experiencing problems with my computer, likely as a result of this same company, I decided I would purchase their product and the low price of $100.00, unfortunately nothing changed on my computer and it was still running slow. Fast forward to today, a year later, and I am again contacted by this same company's "refund department" stating that they are closing and would like to refund my money that I paid them a year ago. That would be great as I am always happy to get money back. A few clicks later they had full access to my computer from their end and were in my email! I had received an email from "[email protected]" that I needed to open and log into with a pin to receive my refund. They also wanted my credit card number, which I no longer have. This man was very pushy and would constantly talk over me any time I asked questions or had any concerns. My computer screen then repeatedly would go black, which he said was because he was logging onto his bank account at Wells Fargo to make the transfer. I now have had to change all of my banking and personal passwords to my computer and applications to safeguard my information. If you receive a call from Supremo, do not answer!
