Consumer put an ad in Craigslist looking for a house and was contacted by an Anderson Brandyn from 928-351-6290 which the number now says phone call rejected. When consumer was contacted by Anderson he asked for pictures, rates, and was sent an email with all the amenities, very detailed. He then sent the consumer the contract, and two references, which consumer contacted and both checked out. Consumer wired the money to Ethnic Treasures in 14005 N. Hamstead Dr. Fountain Hills, AZ 85268. Same as the first report on scam tracker. Consumer called this bank and asked for information on the account he transferred money to speak to the owner of the bank Paulette Girron, and she no longer answers consumers calls. The consumer has not contacted the bank as of yet.

The consumer is a Canadian who comes to Havasu every year for a couple of months and rents a Vacation Rental property. Although Havasu offers many Vacation Rentals By Owner, there are a large number of scams in this industry. Consumer went onto Craigs List found a listing for 1781 Cabana Dr. emailed the recipient regarding this home, paid through wire transfer from bank to bank in the amount of 5700. Everything looks legitimate on the site and the home is registered to a Scott Gould. Consumer had a bad feeling, and continued to investigate, contacted our local police, BBB, and even had detectives drive by the property to see if it was, in fact, a vacation rental. It appears to be a vacation rental. The consumer still had a bad feeling and continued to dig. He came across the actual owners of the property that Scott Gould sold the property to an acquaintance who the consumer was able to contact and found that a scammer was in fact who he was dealing with. This scammer has taken his money and created a very convincing website and bank (Bank of America - 14005 N. Hamstead Dr. Fountain Head, AZ all coincide in Fountain Head 85268). The Beneficiary that the consumer made the payment out to was Ethnic Treasure Enterprise I found in the BBB system Treasure Enterprise in Flint MI. in BBB search dataBase.
