In 2021 my computer security was compromised. I was directed to Microsoft. They in turn transfered me to "instantlivehelps.com". They charged me $1153 to fix the problem. Then the calls started demanding 7500 US a year saying i signed a contract. I do not have a contract with them. On Feb. 24/2023 the callad again demanding money. I declined and asked to cancel the so called contract. On that day the program was uninstalled from my computer and i was given the cancalation code MCA7298RR. They are now phoning again demanding $7500. This time he says the cancalation code is not correct and they want more money. The cancelation info is stored on an icon on the home screen of my laptop. They do not appear to have a web site. Phone #s they use. 1-838-201-4335, 1-518-261-9250, 1-800-337-9334. The names they use are Gary, Kevin. The do not answer the phone, you have to leave a message. I have filed a complaint with The Federal Trade Commission, Report # 160428208. I have also filed a complaint with the FBI fraud investigators. There seems to be dozens of complaints on Microsoft Blogs and all of the fraud sites. I do not expect to recover any money. Extortion is a harsh word, but that is how i feel
