I came across an Ad on Instagram for a romper and it was buy one get one half off. So I ordered 2 on September 23, 2023. I then received a shipping update with the address [email protected] saying that it was in Italy. They kept sending updates and I kept clicking the link only to find out it was moving at a snails pace. I then went to the IG page and found the web address. I sent an email to the customer support and they sent an update with a new shipping service 17track.net and it said that it was on it's way. It was a total scam and I am so stupid for falling for it. Since then people have tried to call me and it goes to someone else's phone number. Furthermore they are getting text messages that claim to be from me and they are not. I am so screwed. How can Instagram allow such fraudulent activity?What steps do I need to take to either get my money back or make sure my info is safe?
