There were multiple ads in Craigslist for a job offer generalized. You hit a link, and it takes you to (consultant.careerapplication.co/consultant-position) after a scheduled meeting has been agreed upon. For about 1.5 hrs, this fraudster goes through what they are offering, and at the end, he asks for $97 dollars for error and omissions insurance. you don't get a job, you don't get more information you do not get an employment application or any other further correspondence. I watched tons of people fall for it and pay during the end the live meeting.

Just had hour hour-long Zoom meeting with the "co-founder" Mark, I applied for a data entry job. I got an email back saying that the position was already filled, but they thought that I would be "an excellent match for another remote position we currently have available." went onto the zoom meeting expecting a 1 on 1 meeting to be met with 180 other applicants and Mark explaining his business "SVH travel" after explaining the consulting job saying that we could make 3k off a 30k booking I thought I smelled something fishy. after watching the applicants file out from 180 to 53 I thought at first they just wanted something different.

NOPE, that's when he pulled up this BWJ travel consultant certification website that wanted up to either pay $500 per year or $97 per month. He made it seem like he was doing us a favor because back in his day he had to pay "$3000 for a 6-month consulting class" but since they are the biggest travel consultant firm, he can co-sign for this, just pay up. I just left the call SMH.

They advertise on Craigslist for a remote Customer Service Rep. You are put into a long zoom session which makes the deal sound great. Everyone is supposedly hired and then they ask you sign to pay $97.00 per month to buy insurance in case you make a mistake on the job. At that point I decided to google the company and found many reports that this is a scam and I did not proceed.

Zoom call and at the end of the call he said it was an insurance that would protect us when we made a mistake with a client.

I attended an online zoom session a few weeks ago about a travel agent opportunity. It was a group call. At the end of the call, the host, edwin, asked us to sign up for their program and pay a fee for it. I typed in the chat that i was unable to pay the fee at the time and i wanted to see whether i could pay it in the future, but he did not respond. I made the decision yesterday to enroll into the travel agent program for $49 monthly. However, i have done some research after reading some reviews about the company. The address provided by the company is 1731 W Glenoaks Blvd Unit 202 Glendale CA 91201. I googled it and amd the svh company was listed at this address. When i called the number for this company, a lady answered. I explained that i just purchased a subscription with bwj travel agency and i wanted to see if they were affiliated with bwj travel. The lady would not provide me with a clear answer. She kept insisting that i contact them for further information. I advised that bwj company has the same address as svh and she did not provide a clear or definite response. She said that they have the same address and suite but they are located on the second floor. I believe that bwj is a scam. I did another zoom call today under the pretense that it would be a one on one session but it was a group session. The host, edwin, addressed each of us by our names but i still don't trust it. Also, edwin looks like he is the jacob person. It is unfortunate that i had fallen for this but i want others to know so that they dont fall victim to it. I invested in this because i want another stream of income and a career, not another job.
