On October 2021 due to my brother’s heart stopping I had to arrange traveling to Taipei Taiwan on 27 October 2021. I booked the flight from CheapFareGuru travel agency. The flight is from Sacramento to Los Angeles domestic flew by delta airline and continue with Singapore airline international from Los Angeles to Taipei Taiwan. I flew one way from Sacramento to Los Angeles. Los Angeles to Taipei connecting Singapore Airline. Due to Covid 19 I cannot get on board but Singapore airline manager at the airport tell me that it’s no problem I can go anytime when I’m ready for the next flight is good for one year therefore I came back to Sacramento and I find out my brother was OK. On June 2022 I was physically ready for traveling again. I tried to book Singapore Airline but I find out Singapore Airline has discontinued flying Direct to Taipei Taiwan therefore I tried to call and email to CheapFareGuru travel agent to request for a refund. I had to go through hoops and headache with the Travel agent. Finally I contact Singapore airline many times and they tell me it’s no problem with the refund, there is no extra charge and the refund should be processed through CheapFareGuru Travel. CheapFareGuru never issued a refund after more than eight months and the Travel agency is still putting the blames on Singapore airlines. I never got an answer and I find out the CheapFareGuru travel agency Is using another company Voyzant to get refund. In the meantime, they kept telling me they have no answer from Singapore airline but I found out from Singapore airline that the refund had been issued to CheapFareGuru travel agency on the 9 of November 2022 for the amount of $887. I’m not claiming the part I use for one way domestic, but Singapore airline will give me a refund and I’m only claiming the Singapore airline portion of US $887.

Hello, The reason I'm so upset an wanting to turn this cheapfareguru company in is because how i was treated an how they are scamming people. I booked a airflight 2 months ago. I get a email saying the flight is cancelled. I called cheapfareguru to reschedule my flight. First person i spoke to wouldn't honor my previous flight cost when rescheduling. The flight was 4 times more money. I asked to see if i could speak to a manager, Person helping me was Andrew. He actually told me NO. When i requested again, he hung up on me. I called back getting another person. Which actually new about Andrew hanging up on me. 2nd person kept me on hold for a bit, then acknowledge Andrew hanging up. When i asked him for a manager, he as well hung up on me. I tried calling the Frontier the flight we were supposed to be on. They don't take phone calls. I called Cheapfareguru back one last time for my refund i got a 3rd person which told me i couldnt have all my money back because there was a refund processing fee. They cancel me!! I have to pay a processing fee..... I feel like this is a scam because lets give you a rediculous fare price. Then months later cancel to get more money last minute. But if you want your money back were gonna keep some of it for a processing fee!!! Whatever happen to good ole customer service! I planned ahead an scheduled my flight, while they get to cancel the flight last minute while they want to charge more then hang up on me.. and keep part of my money! Who gets to treat people like that!
