An alert popped up on login page of Chase bank. Phone number is unknown. Tech person said his name is David Johnson, but he had a distinctly foreign accent. He got my elderly mother to give him remote access to her computer. They charged her account 298 for The Tech Helpdesk (phone 800 031 4596-no one answers) and a second charge to Quality Marketing Solution Coventry UK for another 299. They wiped her computer of all financial records and placed a software "Antivirus" on her computer and stopped all her existing malate and Antivirus legitimate software from running. They then harassed her with calls to get back on her computer which she closed down after they wiped her clean. They wanted her to open her bank account while they controlled the computer. While we were asking for their company I formation, we watched on stunned silence as someone began to close and open files on her comiter while we were checking for unauthorized charges. This let us know that they created a back door into her computer and cold seize anything they wanted. BEWARE. BEWARE. BEWARE of these predators!
