On November 15, 2018 I had a phone call from Supersearch, an online phone directory that I had supposedly agreed to back in 2016 for a contract where I received the first 6 months free and then charged for the remaining 18 months. I was told I had an outstanding bill for 899.00 and had to be paid before they could close the account. I kept asking what company this was and they repeated it several times for me saying I had been sent a physical copy of their directory, which I never had and I had never even heard of this company before and 100% sure I had not signed up for advertising that he said was $75/month. If you multiply $75 x 18 months it works out to $1350.00 not $899.00 as he said the total was. I told him I was going to research the company and he said go ahead, gave his name as Derek ***, and when I asked to speak to someone else he said there wasn't anyone else there that would tell me any different as he was the department manager. Quite a frustrating and upsetting phone call.
