I was approached with a job offer to help optimize products via remote work. Each day a certain amount of 'tasks' were assigned to complete. The first few sets showed small commissions made and even allowed withdrawal of the crypto currency from the account. However, on day 3 working the tasks, I was hit with a "combination task" which required me to deposit my own crypto currency in order to complete the task, which did offer a higher supposed commission. This went on for a few days until I attempted to withdraw my funds and was unable to get the company Customer Service rep to comply. They kept making excuses and even threatening me with legal action if I didn't continue to work there. I completed a fraud report with both the FBI and the FTC. No action or resolve of my money lost took place so obviously they're ineffective as law enforcement for United States citizens.
