I ordered two masks with filter May 23. The next day got an email saying there was a delay based on the volume of order and getting supplies. I emailed them on June 12 with no response because I never got a shipped email with tracking. Went to the site today to send check and now the site is down.

SUPERIORMASKS.ORG is a website that was supposedly selling high end KN95 masks. The website was aesthetically pleasing and I found the link through Peter Dinklage’s instagram account, or so I thought. After a few weeks of waiting I decided to take a harder look and came to find that the instagram account that I had originally found the link on had been changed to describe itself as a fan account even though it did have 5 million plus followers. In retrospect, I never checked to see if the account was verified and thought the amount of followers checked out, this was my mistake. I spent just under 50 on a mask and 5 filter replacements and 6 dollars of that was for expedited shipping. After about two weeks and never even receiving a tracking number I messaged the company. They replied that things were backed up because of the pandemic and that I would be “resent” my tracking number even though I was sent it in the first place and they never “resent” it. Two days later I messaged them requesting a refund for the “expedited” shipping cost and again requested a tracking number. They replied fairly quickly saying that they refunded me the six dollars and it would be posted in my account within 24 hours which oddly enough did happen but still no tracking number. At this point I decided to give them until the 20th business day before contacting them again and by then I still did not have the mask so I messaged them everyday after that for a few days receiving no response at all. My original order was placed on May 18th and it is now the 23rd of June. This website is obviously a scam. The website is actually down now displaying a message to check back later. I assume that has something to do with the numerous bad reviews that resembled mine in almost every detail, right down to finding it on a Game of Thrones actor’s instagram account, that were posted on the website. AGAIN this is SUPERIORMASKS.ORG do not get scammed like me and on another note the instagram account that I had found this site through is now advertising another mask site that is selling Game of Thrones masks that I believe to be a scam as well because the site is set up and functions the exact same way as the site I got scammed on. Even the menu tabs are exactly the same. Only difference is that there is no place to post a review of their product for obvious reasons.

On May 18th, I saw an ad on Instagram for COVID-19 safe masks. I went to the website and it looked like a real, secure site. I purchased some masks and filters (for a total of almost $100). I received a confirmation email and everything appeared to be legitimate. Almost a month has gone by and I still haven't received my order. I emailed them on June 14th and still haven't heard back. I then conducted a search for them of Google and found a review site with a complaint that was similar to mine. This person, too, never received their order and never received a response. I am concerned about the legitimacy of this site and would like to help others avoid this scam.
