Emails that your subscription just expired and you are about to be autorenewed for $499. Wants you to call a number and from what I have read up on, they will try to gain access to your computer and are impersonating supposed tech services.

I received an email saying my subscription for tech support was up for renewal and that I would be charged $499. The email provided a number to call for cancelation. When I called to cancel, the man answering the phone said I would have to be in front of my computer to fill out a form. I said I was unwilling to do anything that would give him access to my computer and he disconnected the call. It appears to be phishing for information. I do not have a tech support subscription.
