Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
The room is 550$, a check was sent through UPS. The amount was 2875$. I was to take out the rooms portion after depositing. Then I would receive info on how to get the rest to dealership.
Took check to bank, it's manager recognizes it as scam. I called bank it was issued from. I was told that it was a closed account. I had checked everything else before that and it had come up legit.
