I have been applying for jobs on Indeed and I applied for an administrative assistant position with Summit Laboratory LLC. They answered me back in a couple of days and advised me to contact the Director of Human Resources on the Telegram app. I did speak with a Gayle Pearson, or so they represented that way. After several questions I was informed I had the job. I am thinking this can't be real. The pay was double what anyone pays around this area. I discussed it with my husband and I looked up the company. The company is real but these people are not. I emailed the company and asked if they had heard of this Gayle Pearson. They had not and if she is suppose to be the Director of HR then you would think they would know her. So they sent me an email and it had the front and back of a check. They advised me to use this to purchase my equipment for work. The front of the check looks as if it has been tampered with and the company it is made on I have never heard of. Needless to say, I am heartbroken that I have no job and this is the 2nd time someone has tried to scam me about a job. Indeed needs to get their act together and screen the employers a lot more.
